| Healthlinc Individual Care Ltd, a
member of the Lighthouse Healthcare Group, is an innovative organisation
specialising in the support and care of adults with learning disabilities
who have mental health needs and may exhibit challenging behaviour.
Our aim is to work in partnership with the public sector to provide
highly specialised and individual packages of care based on individual
assessments and care programmes to enhance the lives and independence
of our patients.
This approach to care delivery is supported by dedicated multi-disciplinary
teams including in-house and visiting Consultant Psychiatrists,
Consultant Psychologists, nursing and care staff, day activity staff
and where indicated Allied Health Professionals.
Established in June 1997
Healthlinc Individual Care Ltd initially provided services at Healthlinc
House, Welton, for eight patients in three individual apartments.
Controlled and timely expansion has taken place and the unit now
provides thirty-nine places in thirteen individual apartments and
one two bedroom bungalow.
In addition Healthlinc Individual Care Ltd
has recently commissioned a complex in the Grimsby area. Completed
in August 2004 the unit complex known as Bradley Woodlands provides
services for forty patients in domestic style accommodation in fifteen
one, two, three and four bedded apartments.
