Bradley Woodlands is a
specialist hospital providing low secure accommodation for individuals
detained under the Mental Health Act.
Bradley Woodalnds is a
modern purpose built-learning disabilities facility where we offer
high quality care, treatment and structured rehabilitation.
Situated in its own private grounds of almost five acres, the facilities
are bordered by mature woodlands and countryside, offering a pleasant
and relaxing setting.

Our accommodation offers
domestic style living in a range of two to four-bedroom single-sex
apartments where we encourage and support the maintenance and development
of daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning and ironing.
In addition, we promote social interaction between patients and
the people living at our sister hospital, HealthLinc House in Welton,
Lincolnshire. Patients also have regular interaction within
the community, such as using local facilities and taking part in
groups and activities.

Our on-site facilities
include general therapy rooms and consulting rooms, activity rooms,
a skills training workshop, a multi sensory room, gymansium, games
room and beauty therapy room.

We offer a range of opportunities
for men and women to enjoy an improved quality of life. We
do this by supporting individuals to develop enhanced social skills
that will enable them to develop appropriate relationships and friendships
in a safe and empathetic environment.
Our specialist person-centred
plans are based on the assessed needs of the individual and promote
the principals of an "ordinary life". Our focus
is on rehabilating patients and this means we place a strong emphasis
on community involvement, presence and participation.
